For this project, together with Tom Farrand from Human Energy Co. we had the privilege to develop the visual style for the Sustainable Airport Platform (SAP) Toolkit, a vital project led by RSB (Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials). This toolkit serves as a comprehensive resource for the Sustainable Airports Platform, an initiative dedicated to fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and promoting sustainability within the rapidly growing Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) economy.
ABOUT SAP
The Sustainable Airports Platform, an RSB initiative, is a dynamic hub for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the realm of airport sustainability and its crucial role in the SAF sector. This platform facilitates virtual meetings, hosts expert presentations, and promotes online and offline discussions among stakeholders passionate about creating a more sustainable future.
The platform is closely linked to ALIGHT, an EU-funded Smart Airport project led by Copenhagen Airport. ALIGHT brings together 16 European partners, including RSB, to develop best practices for the supply, integration, and use of SAF and smart energy at airports. Airports worldwide play a pivotal role in advancing the use of SAF; however, a consistent supply of SAF remains a challenge, and the precise role airports should play within the SAF value chain is still evolving.
THE LOGO
The logo we crafted for the Sustainable Airport Platform Toolkit encapsulates the essence of this groundbreaking initiative. The leaf-shaped icon, reminiscent of an airplane wing, symbolizes the fusion of sustainability and aviation innovation. The gradient from leaf green to deep ocean blue not only evokes the natural world but also represents the innovative strides being made in sustainable aviation fuel. The modern serif font harmoniously blends elements of nature and innovation, reflecting the program's commitment to eco-friendly solutions. The icon's versatility allows it to create a pattern, symbolizing the diverse range of partners who contribute to the platform—a dynamic network of stakeholders from various fields, united in their pursuit of a more sustainable future.
THE TOOLKIT’S PURPOSE
The Sustainable Airport Platform Toolkit consolidates the essential information, guidance, and tools that constitute the Sustainable Airports Platform into one accessible and user-friendly resource. This toolkit empowers organizations to effectively communicate their participation in the platform to their audiences, enhancing engagement and sustainability initiatives.
Designed with the specific needs of RSB members, ALIGHT program partners, and targeted external stakeholders in mind, this toolkit was developed through structured discussions arising from the platform's meetings and presentations.
ABOUT SAF
Sustainable Aviation Fuels, also known as aviation biofuels or bio-jet fuels, offer a low-carbon alternative for the aviation industry. These drop-in aviation fuels are derived from non-petroleum-based feedstocks, including waste, residues, end-of-life products, and fossil waste such as CO2, waste plastics, and tires. SAF plays a pivotal role in reducing aviation's carbon footprint, and the Sustainable Airport Platform Toolkit serves as a critical resource for advancing this important agenda.
I am extremely proud to have been part of this project, contributing to the visual style and design of the Sustainable Airport Platform Toolkit. I believe that sustainability is not just a goal but a necessity, and I am dedicated to supporting initiatives like the Sustainable Airports Platform that are at the forefront of environmental progress. This project exemplifies my commitment to promoting sustainable solutions and effective communication in the realm of aviation and beyond.

Brand Identity Art Direction Infographics PowerPoint Template
I had the exciting opportunity to lead a comprehensive brand transformation project for FunnelFuel, a dynamic and fast-growing startup. The project involved a complete overhaul of the company's logo, brand positioning, and the creation of detailed brand guidelines. Our objective was to establish a cohesive and compelling visual identity that would support FunnelFuel's ambitious growth plans and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
ABOUT FUNNELFUEL
Founded in 2020, FunnelFuel is an innovative company specializing in providing cutting-edge B2B marketing solutions. With a rapidly expanding customer base and ambitious growth projections, FunnelFuel required a strong and cohesive brand identity to maintain its competitive edge and resonate with a wider audience.
PROBLEM
As a rapidly growing startup with plans for massive scaling, FunnelFuel faced the challenge of maintaining a consistent brand identity. The rapid expansion meant that without a clear and well-defined set of brand guidelines, the company risked brand dilution and inconsistency. This would not only affect their market positioning but also potentially confuse and alienate their target audience.
TASK
The primary task was to step back and redefine FunnelFuel’s brand identity to ensure it was robust enough to support their growth trajectory. This included:
Reworking and developing a new logo
Creating comprehensive brand guidelines
Designing PowerPoint templates for different needs
Developing various infographics and collaterals
SOLUTION
Step 1. Logo Rework
The first step in the brand transformation was the redesign of the FunnelFuel logo. The new logo needed to be modern, versatile, and reflective of the innovative spirit of the company. The redesign process involved:
Researching and understanding the core values and vision of FunnelFuel
Creating several design iterations
Refining the chosen design to perfection
Step 2. Brand Guidelines Creation
To ensure consistency across all mediums, detailed brand guidelines were developed. These guidelines covered:
Logo usage and variations
Color palette
Typography
Imagery and iconography
Tone of voice and messaging
The brand guidelines serve as a comprehensive manual for maintaining brand consistency, ensuring that all marketing materials and communications align with FunnelFuel’s identity.
Step 3. PowerPoint Template Creation
A professional and visually appealing PowerPoint template was designed to be used for presentations. The template incorporated the new brand elements, ensuring that all presentations were on-brand and visually cohesive. This template included:
Title slides
Content slides
Infographic slides
Conclusion slides
Step 4. Various Infographics and Collaterals
To support FunnelFuel’s marketing efforts, various infographics and collateral materials were created. These included:
Brochures
Infographics
Social media graphics
Email templates
Each piece was designed to be visually engaging and in line with the newly defined brand guidelines, helping FunnelFuel communicate their message effectively.
The FunnelFuel Brand Visual Identity project was a thorough and successful overhaul of the company's branding. By redesigning the logo, creating detailed brand guidelines, and developing various marketing materials, we established a strong and cohesive visual identity for FunnelFuel. This transformation ensures the company is well-prepared to support its ambitious growth and maintain consistency across all its communications. You can see the new brand in action at funnelfuel.io.
P2X by RSB
Art Direction Pitch Deck Infographics Brand Identity
I proudly present a project that encapsulates my passion for effective communication and the urgency of sustainable technology. In this project we partnered with Tom Farrand from Human Energy Co. to design of a comprehensive handbook on P2X sustainable technology, a cutting-edge solution that promises a brighter future for our planet. The challenge was to demystify the intricacies of this complex technology and break it down step-by-step, making it accessible and engaging for a broader audience. To achieve this, we employed a series of meticulously crafted infographics that transformed the way people perceive and understand P2X technology.
CLIENT
RSB is a collaborative network of global organisations advancing the transition to a bio-based and circular economy. RSB has created a robust and credible sustainability framework, which they use as a foundation to collaboratively develop projects, knowledge and solutions that deliver positive impacts for people and planet.
PROBLEM
The problem at hand was multifaceted. P2X technology, which stands for Power-to-X, offers a sustainable approach to energy storage and utilization. However, its intricacy and technical jargon often made it challenging for non-experts to comprehend. The critical issue was bridging the gap between the potential of P2X technology and its accessibility to the wider public and RSB partners. There was a clear need for a resource that could explain this innovative technology in a manner that was both informative and comprehensible.
TASK
Our initial task was to create a visual identity for the P2X sustainable technology handbook. This included the development of a logo and an overall visual style that would not only represent the technology effectively but also provide a consistent and appealing aesthetic throughout the project. The logo and visual style had to capture the essence of P2X technology and set the tone for the rest of the handbook's content.
SOLUTION
To address this challenge, we divided the project into three key steps:
Step 1: Develop the Logo and Visual Style
Creating a logo for the handbook was the starting point. The logo needed to be more than just a symbol; it had to encapsulate the essence of P2X technology and serve as a visual anchor for the entire project. The emblem is formed out of the letter X and the lighting, the ultimate symbol of electricity. The tri-levelness of the logo reflects the three stages of the technological process:
Power Generation
Conversion
Applications
Step 2: Create Infographics
Following the establishment of the visual identity, the next step was to develop a series of infographics. These visuals were crucial in simplifying complex P2X technology concepts. Each infographic was designed to convey specific elements of the technology, breaking down its processes, benefits, and applications. The synergy between visuals and the established visual style ensured that readers could engage with and understand the content.
Step 3: Design the Handbook
With the logo, visual style, and infographics in place, the final step was crafting the comprehensive handbook. This included integrating the visual elements with clear and concise written content that provided context and explained the significance of each visual component. Attention was given to the overall design, ensuring the handbook was aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate, and maintained a consistent visual identity.
The result was a P2X technology handbook that not only effectively communicated the intricacies of the technology but also established a compelling visual identity for the subject matter. This three-step solution successfully bridged the gap between the complexities of P2X technology and the broader audience's understanding, making it an effective tool for promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. This project showcased my commitment to making complex subjects accessible, inspiring a sustainable future through effective visual communication.

RSB Pitch Deck & PowerPoint Template
Art Direction Brand Identity PowerPoint Template Infographics
This project involved the design of a pitch deck and PowerPoint template for the RSB (Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials), a collaborative network dedicated to accelerating the transformation to a sustainable and circular bioeconomy. The goal was not only to communicate RSB's mission effectively but also to reflect the organization's commitment to lighter, eco-friendly technologies. The result is a visually compelling template, pitch deck, and set of guidelines that ensure consistent, engaging, and impactful communication across all RSB materials.
TASK
Create a PowerPoint template and pitch deck that would visually embody RSB's mission. This visual representation needed to be light, reflective of sustainability, and centered on the circular economy concept. The circular, Earth-inspired design was pivotal, symbolizing the regenerative and sustainable nature of the bioeconomy. Alongside this, a set of guidelines was required to ensure consistent application of the template across all RSB communication materials. Finally, an icon and image bank were necessary to convey the right message through visuals.
PROBLEM
RSB's mission is to spearhead the transition to a sustainable and circular bioeconomy, emphasizing sustainability, environmental restoration, and livelihood improvement. The problem lay in creating visual materials that conveyed this commitment effectively. The challenge was not only to explain RSB's mission but also to reflect the organization's focus on 'lighter' solutions in contrast to the solid, oil-based economy. The design needed to be ethereal, in stark contrast to the often heavy and industrial visuals of the fossil fuel industry.
SOLUTION
To address this multifaceted challenge, the project unfolded in several steps:
Step 1. PowerPoint Template Design
I began with the creation of a PowerPoint template that reflected RSB's commitment to sustainability and circular bioeconomy. The design was centered and prominently featured circular elements, representing Earth and the regenerative nature of the bioeconomy. The color palette was chosen to be light and environmentally friendly, in contrast to the heavier, industrial colors often associated with the oil-based economy.
Step 2. Pitch Deck Development
The pitch deck was developed as a visual example of how RSB could effectively communicate its mission. This involved aligning the content with the PowerPoint template, incorporating visually engaging layouts, and integrating the circular design elements. The deck served as a powerful tool for RSB to present their initiatives and attract stakeholders aligned with their mission.
Step 3. Guidelines Creation
To ensure consistency, a set of guidelines was established, detailing how the template should be used across all RSB materials. These guidelines ensured that the circular design elements, color palette, and other visual components were applied consistently, fostering a coherent and recognizable brand identity.
Step 4. Icon and Image Bank
The final step involved creating an icon set and image bank. These resources were curated to align with RSB's mission, conveying the right message across all materials. The icons and images reinforced the themes of sustainability, circular economy, and environmental restoration, enhancing the visual impact of RSB's communications.
The result is a comprehensive set of materials that not only align with RSB's mission but also visually represent it effectively. The PowerPoint template, pitch deck, guidelines, icons, and images come together to create a cohesive, environmentally conscious, and impactful communication strategy. This project is a testament to my commitment to sustainability and my ability to translate complex missions into compelling visual narratives.
